EA1- The Basics and EACS1- Safety for ME! classes: The main goal of the East Coast Training Systems™ and Jane Doe No More™ partnership is to teach as many women and children as possible the techniques and concepts that can prevent becoming a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, and predatory behavior. If you are interested in making a difference consider organizing an Escape Alive Survival Skills class in partnership with Jane Doe No More for your community, business, school, or organization. Classes can be private or open to the public, it is the organizer’s choice. Most of the Escape Alive classes listed on this site are open to the general public thanks to our partnership with Jane Doe No More. Standard class sizes for these classes is 50 or 100, but more can be accommodated on a per class basis.

Escape Alive- Academic Guardian Initiative: The Academic Guardian Initiative ™ is part of our Escape Alive series of programs. Throughout our time teaching Escape Alive to individuals there have tragically been many school attacks and shootings. As teachers participated in our program they voiced their concerns about safety in their schools. The "lock down" and "hide in place" drills at their schools left them with little direction and no options on what to do if they came face to face with a threat! In 2013 FEMA prepared a report for the US Department of Education named "GUIDE FOR DEVELOPING HIGH-QUALITY SCHOOL EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLANS" (https://www.fema.gov/media-library/assets/documents/33599). The report includes guidelines for planning, creating, implementing, and maintaining Emergency Operations Plans (EOP) for schools for a number of emergencies that can occur. Read more...

We want you to Escape Alive…
The Escape Alive Survival Skills® series of programs is designed with your and your family’s safety and survival in mind! Your lifestyle, work, and other risk factors can play an important role in the exposure you have to a dangerous, life threatening situation. Children learn the basics of who to trust and how to run. Women learn awareness, recognition, avoidance, and how to defend themselves with the least risk of injury. If your job is security or combat based there is a whole set of new rules, new challenges, and new risks. No matter what your situation is we want you to return home to your family every night. That is our goal!
